-sweatdrop-
Dani was red.
No wait; she wasn't just red, she could feel herself radiating heat.
"Now, where were we?" Matt said with a devilish smile, pulling her back to him as Liam left the room and them, alone.
"Matt, I've got to go, it's late."
"You didn't seem to mind how late is was a while ago."
"I've got to go meet up with Leia in the courtyard," she reasoned, groping around for her clothes. If she'd hurry putting them back on, maybe Matt would stop trailing his fingers over her torso. It was making her nervous.
"Alright," he sighed in defeat, disappointed that he hadn't convinced his girlfriend to stay and have fun. Standing up next to her, he snaked his arms around her slender waist and in an excruciatingly slow albeit seductive manner, kissed Dani one last time.
"Wait for me after dance practice tomorrow?" she breathed into his ear. The sexual tension in the room was so thick, it could have been broken with a chain saw.
Grinning, he helped her with her last button. "Wouldn't miss it for the world, Dani."
They parted ways, with Matt heading towards the locker room and Dani wondering whether she was ready to have sex with her fourth boyfriend. This was the third time this week, he would seduce her somewhere no one could disturb them and then get into a wild game of tonsil hockey, while Matt wrestled with her clothes.
"What do you mean we're over?!" A familiar voice shrieked somewhere around the corner. Dani shuddered involuntarily. It was Ceylon Calipto, her cousin and the lackey of Marissa Samuels, the notorious Queen Bitch since preschool.
"I'm breaking up with you." Interesting... Dylan Sinclair, one of Marissa's many ex-boyfriends, had hooked up with Ceylon just yesterday. Talk about a short-lived relationship.
"You can't break up with me!" Ceylon cried, her face on the verge of breaking into tears."Why?" she screeched, in spite of herself.
"It's just that... the sex isn't... you know..." he shrugged his broad shoulders, as if it was self-explanatory.
Feeling her jaw drop, Dani raised an eyebrow. He was breaking up with Cey because of sex?
Then again, it was probably an A-list thing, nothing she would ever want to know or understand. Doubting whether what she thought of was going to save her cousin or just bury her in more embarrassment, she stepped out of her hiding place, strutted right next to her cousin and wrapped an arm around the sobbing blonde.
"You know Dylan, you might want to rethink about breaking up with Ceylon."
A glare was sent in her direction. "And why is that, Greyson?"
"Well, look at it this way, maybe you're the one with the problem. After all, why would Marissa dump you? You're smart enough, good-looking, tall and popular, what else could've been the problem between you two except sex, right?"
Flabbergasted, he opened his mouth to retort, but he made no sound and walked away, muttering something between the lines of 'not sinking low enough to hit girls'.
"Oh, but I hit guys," Dani called out, smiling like the bitch she could be, and currently was. "And I'll kick you," she pointed at Ceylon, her fiery blue eyes meeting the wet and bleak green ones of her cousin. "and your ass if you don't tell everyone how bad he is in bed."
Leaving a torn-down Ceylon to the nearest A-list cheerleader, Dani picked up her pace. She forgot how quickly time could pass with the talk of sex in the air.
It wasn't long before she entered the courtyard, nor was her collision with an tall, broad-shouldered and most importantly, unfamiliar body.
Keys, cellphones, pens, Ipods, and everything else you'd expect from a teenager spilled on the floor as Dani's bag and the kid's knapsack fell."Sorry," they mumbled at the same time, grabbing their stuff and walking away from the scene.
"Leia!" she called out to the dark-haired figure. "I'm sorry I'm late," she apologized. "I was with Matt."
